Lexus has loaded its hybrid CT200h hatch will more gear for 2018.
The Japanese brand has upped the small car's safety and infotainment pedigree with a range of new standard features and some mild styling revisions.
Base Luxury grade models score new active safety systems including lane departure warning with lane keep assist, auto high beam, active cruise control and pre-collision systems like autonomous emergency braking has been expanded to detect pedestrians.
Luxury-specification models also get an anti-dazzle rear view mirror, fresh 16-inch alloy wheels, navigation, a 10.3-inch display with reversing camera and rear parking sensors and a 4.2-inch information display.
All the extra gear adds $2150 to the price of the CT200h Luxury, which now costs $40,900 before on-road costs.
Mid-spec F Sport models now come equipped with all the above features but also gain 17-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lamps and Bi-LED headlights.
Lexus has increased the price of the F Sport by $1960 to $50,400.
The range-topping Sports Luxury gets all the F Sport features but adds further faux leather trim, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, upgraded 13-speaker sound system and a moonroof.
Sports Luxury models now cost $56,900, a rise of $810.
Styling tweaks for the CT range include a new mesh-pattern grille, front bumper and L-shaped taillights. While Luxury and Sports Luxury models get a new rear bumper and F Sport variants get a unique bumper and an extra dollop of black exterior highlights on the grille, mirror caps and spindle.
All models are powered by the combination of a 72kW/142Nm 1.8-litre petrol engine and a 60kW/207Nm electric motor, with a max power output of only 100kW combined.
