Mini Clubman interior pictures

We have seen the official exterior images of the Mini Clubman but until now the interior and the workings of that odd little suicide door have remained a mystery. Thanks to MotoringFile, a bunch of interior shots have been snapped that help to take the mystery out of the extra-long Mini’s interior.

From the pictures you get a feel for how the rear suicide door will work and how it will aid entry and exit although it looks as though you will have to keep an eye on the seatbelt to avoid it catching you on the way out. Lying face down in the gutter with a leg caught in a seatbelt would hardly be the most graceful of exits.
