A NEW VIDEO CLIP from supercarmaker McLaren reveals the first footage of its new MP4-12C in action, seen here in camouflage-livery during testing earlier this year.
Part one in a new series, Inside McLaren: Developing The MP4-12C follows Technical Director Dick Glover and Chief Test Driver Chris Goodwin as they walk us through the development of the supercar.
While Glover gives us a look around McLaren's facilities at Woking in the UK - including the door to the company's top secret F1 simulator - Goodwin talks about the tracks and climates used to test the MP4.
"Having to develop a brand new range of cars from scratch to the standards expected of McLaren, featuring ground-breaking new structures and powertrain is the ultimate challenge and one we are relishing," Glover said.
"Sure, we have challenges – that is why we go to these places that absolutely push the cars to their limits and beyond."
