Maserati GranTurismo UK premiere

A car as stunning as the new Maserati GranTurismo is hard to miss…but we managed to miss reporting on this beauties recent UK premiere. So we had best get to it then.

A little over a week ago London’s Royal Horticultural Hall was the venue for the introduction of Maserati’s new GranTurismo to the UK’s rich and famous. The Gala event featured Supermodel Jodie Kidd and her luggage…all of which was completely upstaged by the Maserati and what must be one of the most exquisite bodies known to man.

Obviously Jodie recognized the threat and did her best to stand in front of the gorgeous GranTurismo with her bags packed when the cameras came out, much to our annoyance.

The GranTurismo was penned by Pininfarina and was initially debuted at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. It features the same 298Kw 4.2-litre V8 Ferrari designed screamer currently doing time in the Quattroporte, Spyder and Coupe variants.

The other star of note to turn up to the event was Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason who arrived in a Maserati Quattroporte. Nick is well known to Top Gear fans for being the chap who lent Jeremy C his Ferrari Enzo.
