Lotus Evora in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

During the Lotus Evora's unveiling at the British International Motorshow, Lotus announced a collaborative project with Polyphony Digital, the makers of the famed Gran Turismo racing simulator series on the PlayStation consoles.

On the day, visitors to the Lotus stand were treated to a special version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, allowing them to drive the Evora through a London-based course.

Mike Kimberley, Group Lotus CEO, was pleased with the project's success.

“We are delighted to join forces with Sony Computer Entertainment and Polyphony Digital once again on such a special occasion for Lotus. The Launch of the Lotus Evora is a milestone for us and represents a new and exciting phase of our development.

While there may yet be some time before the car is available here in reality, the Lotus Evora is expected to be available in virtual form in an upcoming downloadable update for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.  The ultimate pre-testdrive testdrive is on its way!
