Lexus will be giving Australian motorists their first look at the stunning LF-A Roadster at the Melbourne International Motor Show next month, more than a year after it made its global debut at the Detroit Auto Show.

But while it has been around the traps for a while, we're still keen as mustard to get our first glimpse of the LF-A "in the metal".

In terms of design, it's easily to most dynamic Lexus coupe to date (remember the SC430? Shudder...) and with over 360kW erupting from its sub-5.o litre V10, it promises to be as fast as it looks.

Although the concept looks pretty much street ready (indeed, a prototype recently completed the Nurburgring 24-hour enduro), the LF-A is still some distance away from hitting showroom floors.

For now though, we're more than happy to gaze upon the LF-A Roadster's shapely form while we wait. Lexus fans and supercar freaks can check out the LF-A  - along with the IS-F and the rest of Lexus' range - at the Melbourne International Motor Show from February 27 to March 9.
