It looks like initial reports on Lamborghini's limited edition Murci??lago LP 650-4 Roadster were spot on, with Lamborghini responding to the leaked memo with official images and details on its latest creation.
Only 50 LP 650-4s will be ever see the light of day, with a revised version of Lamborghini's 6.5 litre V12 engine providing motivation.
Nestled behind the driver and visible through the clear engine cover, the V12 is good for 650hp (478kW) and 660Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque.
When coupled to the Lambo's permanent four-wheel drive system, the 6.5 litre donk will propel the Murci??lago LP 650-4 Roadster from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds, on to a top speed of 330km/h.
Lamborghini has also gone to work on ensuring the LP 650-4 Roadster has the looks to match the mumbo. While you'll always hear it before you see it, the Roadster's contrasting grey and orange scheme commands serious attention.
Inside the cabin, the theme continues with the asymmetrical dash featuring black Alcantara on the driver's side and black leather on the passenger's side. Orange highlights feature throughout.
Lamborghini is keeping mum on the pricing and availability, but given the exclusive nature of the car and the limited production run, it won't be cheap.
For those of us whose numbers haven't come up just yet, the hi-res gallery images will have to do.
