Lamborghini is reportedly considering a somewhat softened supercar to complement its Aventador and Huracan models, eyeing off a launch date of around 2020.

Automobile Mag reports that the new model could be a 2+2 grand tourer with the engine up front, akin to the Aston Martin Rapide S or Porsche Panamera.

The Italian carmaker revealed long ago that it is working on its first-ever SUV, called the Urus, so the new GT could create a four-car line-up for Lamborghini by 2020.

By then, the Huracan (pictured, top of page) will likely be facing a significant upgrade; which includes plug-in hybrid power to improve its emissions output and distance it from the all-out Aventador (pictured, below), which will stay with V12 performance until its replacement arrives in 2022.
