Kids Dream Of Fireblades? Nope, Apparently They Dream Of Goldwings

Man, things have sure changed since I was a little fella.  When I wasn’t dreaming about having lunch with Thomas the Tank Engine, the only thing on my mind was all the sports bikes buzzing past the family car at approximately one million miles per hour.

While my concept of achievable speed has improved in the years since, I’ve apparently been left behind in the dreams stakes.  No longer do kids dream about the likes of Fireblades and Ninjas and 'Gixxers', no sir.  This advertisement from Honda informs me that kids now dream about putting on another hundred kilos of burgers and fries and climbing onto a Honda Gold Wing.  Well, why wouldn’t you?

Don’t get me wrong, Honda, I’ve got no problem with the Gold Wing.  As a full grown male (mostly), I find it appealing enough.  Kids, though?  Brilliant concept for an ad… but perhaps the wrong bike for the job.
