Kia has unveiled more than its share of concept cars over the past few years, and it seems January's Detroit Auto Show will be no exception.

Gracing the Korean carmaker's stand at Detroit next month will be a new concept dubbed KV7, a (presumably electrified) crossover concept featuring swivel seats and wood-style flooring.

Surprisingly, the KV7 takes a page from the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG's book, featuring gullwing doors for the rear passengers.

Whether the KV7 has a production future is unclear - and Kia isn't saying - but with its Soul, Cerato Koup and Sportage models all starting life as motor-show concepts, a market debut for the KV7 isn't hard to imagine.

Kia also recently teased its upcoming Picanto light car, although no date has been set for an unveiling. Could we also see this new model at Detroit?
