Jeep has announced a new Mopar Adventure Pack for those Jeep Wrangler buyers who plan to hit the trails and not spare the horses. Fitment of the Mopar package will improve the 4WD-ability of the Wrangler and provide increased protection for the interior and exterior.

The Jeep Wrangler Mopar Adventure Pack includes

  • Heavy-Duty front bar
  • Heavy-Duty rear bar
  • Rock Rails, with integrated rub rail
  • Tail lamp guards
  • Front skid plate
  • Headlight protectors
  • Rubber slush mats

The package has a recommended recommended retail price of $3,100 (GST included) which does not include fitment for the two door variant. Jeep say that the Adventure Pack will improve both approach and departure angles when compared to the standard bumper bars fitted to the 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

Jeep Wrangler Vs Mopar equipped Wrangler*

Departure angle - 31.3° versus 38°

Approach angle - 38.4° versus 40°

There are a number of benefits in choosing the genuine Mopar off-road front and rear bumpers. Their textured satin black electro coat and powder coat finish meets tough Jeep corrosion standards and the off-road front bumper incorporates factory energy absorbers and is crash tested to work with the vehicle’s airbag system.

Jeep Rock Rails feature a strong integrated tubular “rub rail” that runs the length of the guard to offer improved body side protection. Being mounted at the same height as the body side, Rock Rails don’t reduce ground clearance. Like the bumpers, the Rock Rails feature a textured electro coated and powder coated satin black finish.

The pack also consists of a front skid plate to protect the Wranglers vitals, tail lamp guards, headlight protectors and rubber slush mats.

Four door packages are also available at an additional cost of $100.

*Results based on a 2008 Jeep Wrangler 2 door CRD automatic with an unladen vehicle with full fuel tank and tyre PSI at 35.
