We’ve all seen the Hyundai Genesis from the outside but pictures of the interior have been as rare as an honest politician – in other words non-existent – until now. Thanks to one of the members over at Hyundai Exchange the following four images have found their way onto the net.
We are not expecting to see the Hyundai Genesis and its rear-wheel drive V8 platform in Australia – but our North American readers will become used to seeing them on their roads over the coming years.
The interior shown is said to belong to a Korean market version of the Genesis so it may not be fully representative of what the American market will see. Expect a little less faux wood across the face of the dashboard and a revised steering wheel – hopefully.
Features include an electronic parking brake (on the dash to the left of the steering wheel) as well as a keyless-start button that is likely to utilize a remote-key. There is also a centre console mounted ‘twist and turn’ navigation system control, reminiscent of BMW’s oft criticized i-drive.
An Audi interior it isn’t but the Carupdate jury will be out until a less woody North American spec interior is snapped.
