HSV Celebrates 85 000 Vehicles

Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) is celebrating this week, having signed off on its 85,000th vehicle.

The occasion was marked with a blue GEN-F2 ClubSport R8 LSA, which is headed to one of HSV’s oldest dealerships - Garry And Warren Smith in Oakleigh, Victoria.

The buyer of Number 85,000 will be made aware of the fact via a unique build plate, along with a letter of authenticity from HSV Managing Director, Tim Jackson.

That buyer is yet to be determined, as the vehicle was ‘unsold’ when HSV made the announcement.

“From humble beginnings at our Notting Hill production facility in 1987, with just three employees, a single desk, two chairs and one telephone, to the production of our 85,000th vehicle, we are constantly reminded of the dedication and passion our employees, dealers and owners continue to show,” Mr Jackson said. 

“This is a milestone that can be proudly shared by them all.”
