HONDA IS SET to unveil its newest experiment, the Honda P-NUT Concept, at next month's Los Angeles Auto Show.

Short for Personal-Neo Urban Transport, the P-NUT is described as a "futuristic concept for an ultra-compact, aggressively designed coupe".

Apart from that morsel of information, Honda has revealed no other details - and not a single teaser image - of its latest concept.

Recent concepts unveiled by Honda have included the all-electric Cub Scooter, fellow electric concept the EV-N, and the hybrid Skydeck.

The EV-N concept, inspired by the classic Honda N600 of the late 60s and early 70s, features swappable seat fabrics, a solar roof to support the battery-powered motor, and a car-to-car communications array in the front bumper.

Borrowing styling cues from the the likes of Honda’s Odyssey wagon, Stream and the CR-Z concept - the petrol-electric Skydeck debuted at this year's Tokyo Motor Show.
