Granted, Volvo's XC60 SUV is more known for its kid-carrying ability than its tuning potential, but that hasn't deterred tuning company Heico Sportiv from developing its own range of go-faster parts for the high-riding Volvo.
Headlining Heico Sportiv's XC60 parts lineup is their tweaked ECU packages for both the turbodiesel and petrol-powered XC60s. With changes to the fuel mapping and ignition timing, a total of 231kW (315hp) can be obtained from the turbocharged petrol six-cylinder and 154kW (210hp) from the turbodiesel five.
Either engine can be hooked up to Heico's freer-flowing quad-tipped exhaust system, while a set of lowering springs improve handling and looks.
A full leather trim kit is also offered for the interior, but outside is where the rear visual gains are to be had.
A front bumper lip, side skirts and a rear bumper with faus air diffuser give the usually dowdy XC60 a sporty edge, while a set of unique alloy wheels are available in 18-inch, 19-inch and gangsta-spec 20-inch sizes.
The whole shebang looks pretty good to be honest. Pretty damn sexy for an SUV.
