Normally, being a driver for Ferrari?s Formula 1 team would see you behind the wheel of one of Maranello?s finest but no-one appears to have told Felipe Massa. Felipe is now the proud owner of the most powerful Fiat 500 made by the factory and if the pictures are anything to go by he would seem kind of chuffed.
Under the hood of this ?special? Fiat 500 can be found the same 86kW/120bhp engine that powers the recently arrived in Australia, Fiat Punto Sport T-Jet. In addition to the turbocharged engine, Felipe?s 500 gets some 15 inch diamond alloy finish wheels along with some chunky red brake callipers. In case Felipe forgets that this special 500 is his, Fiat have embossed his signature in the alloy scuff plates.
While Fiat don?t offer a turbocharged 500 to ?normal? customers, it is possible to order the same pearl white paintwork, brown cloth interior, electric skydome sunroof and chrome trim pack via the options list when buying a new 500. The Fiat 500 will be launched at this years Melbourne International Motor Show and will be ready for delivery shortly thereafter.
