BMW tuning outfit G-Power has done the inconceivable and added more grunt to the M5 sedan. Not content with the standard car's 373 kW, G-Power has added dual superchargers, an intercooler and forged pistons to create a 559 kW weapon.

Branded the Hurricane RS, the car has achieved a record top-speed run at the Papenburg High Speed Oval in Germany, reaching just over 366 km/h. This is enough to top the previous record set by the Brabus Rocket.

As well the dual supercharger upgrade provided by German manufacturer ASA, the Hurricane RS also receives revised coil-over suspension, changes to the aero package, high performance brakes and a set of sticky Michelin tyres to help funnel that immense power to the ground.

That’s not all though, G-Power claims that the engine could produce up to 671 kW with further development. As it stands, the 559 kW kit will set you back around USD$72,000.

Or, if you feel that 447 kW will give you enough to brag about at the pub, then for the simple act of parting with just under USD$20,000 for the 447 kW kit, you can brag to your heart's content.
