Five-Star ANCAP Safety For Mazda MX-5 RF

Mazda’s hardtop MX-5 RF has joined the rest of the MX-5 lineup in scoring the maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating.

Launch of the RF (Retractable Folding roof) version coincided with Mazda introducing its i-ACTIVSENSE suite of safety technologies – including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert - across the entire MX-5 range.

Not that the two-seat MX-5 sports car was lacking in that department with standard kit including four airbags, ABS anti-lock brakes, dynamic stability control, emergency brake assist , emergency stop signal, hill launch assist and traction control.

The folding hardtop RF model also boasts adaptive headlights.
