Fast And Furious 5 Confirmed, Oh Gawd

Thanks to the ridiculous success of Fast And Furious, the fourth installment in what’s swiftly becoming the Rocky series for the 21st century young male, The Fast And The Furious franchise will be returning for a fifth go-round.

In a recent interview with a US radio station, blessed B-grade actor Paul Walker confirmed that he, and comrade-in-arms Vin Diesel will be back for number five.

“This was supposed to be it — but without question, Vin and I will be coming back, we’re making the fifth one and we’re going to Brazil,” he said.

With a box-office take of US$72.5 million in its first weekend and the record for the biggest April opening in film history, the news isn’t really a surprise.  Still, it stings a little, nonetheless.

Ah, who am I kidding, I love these guys.
