Fans of Classic Japanese Steel, Rejoice.

Classic Japanese cars, while enjoying a relatively small but enthusiastic following around the world, are never really near the top of Regular Joe's list when it comes to the more literal meaning of the term Classic.

Ask Johnny Average for his idea of a genuine classic car, and you'll undoubtedly get something European or American. A Ferrari, a Jag, a Chevy. The more discerning Jack Not So Average (alright, I'm running out of John Citizens) might recall the top-selling Datsun 240Z or the rare as hens teeth Toyota 2000GT before taking on a glazed appearance and muttering "ummm".

Now there's the US publication Japanese Nostalgic Car to help guide the not so instantly recognisable cars—such as the Datsun 510 and the Mazda RX-3—into the annals of old school admiration.

Standing as the only currently published Western magazine to focus entirely on the elder statesmen of Japanese tin, JNC magazine presents a number of feature cars (including the amazing 2000GT raced by none other than Carroll Shelby), and articles chronicling the advances made by the likes of Toyota, Mazda, and Honda in the 60s and 70s as they fought to make a name for themselves on the global stage. From humble dealerships in Los Angeles to stunning race victories in Europe, there's no shortage of enlightening information shared in the pages of this brilliantly written and professionally printed mag. This ain't no newsletter, kids!
