Those Edo Competition guys are at it again, having another crack at one of the World?s most beautiful supercars. Edo have previously modified the Ferrari 599 GTB to create the 630 GTB and it?s on this car that the 630 Scuderia is based. Edo like to call the Scuderia makeover an ?aerodynamic package?.
The Edo 630 Scuderia uses the same Edo tuned hi-po version of the stock 599?s Enzo derived powerplant, found in the 630 GTB. The Scuderia update is based around a new aerodynamic kit whose purpose is to improve cooling and aerodynamic efficiency. Improved brake and engine cooling as well as increased downforce are the result.
Stability at high speed is improved with the fitment of a new aerodynamic undertray and larger six-blade diffuser in the rear. Carbon fibre is a big feature of the package and further lowers the weight of the 630 Scuderia by 50kg over the 630 GTB.
Now, it may be faster, more powerful and cleave the air better than the Ferrari 599 GTB on which it is based but is it really any better?
