Folks, I?m torn. Like TMR?s Tony O?Kane, I?m unnaturally obsessed with Japanese cars ? especially the ones we?re not lucky enough to see on Aussie roads.

But, like most three-legged males, I?m also a fan of exotic European supercars.

So when I see this classic Japan-market 1969 Subaru Sambar II ?kei? truck flamboyantly waving a Ferrari flag, I can?t decide if it?s the best of both worlds, or an utter abomination.

If it?s the latter, at least it?s an exquisitely well done abomination... maybe... err... maybe not.

The owner of this little monster has left no corner of the diminutive Subaru untouched, with a full leather interior, gauges, gearstick knob and aluminium pedals all executed in the trademark Ferrari style.

Fezza badging and tiny circular tail lights finish off the look nicely.

If you want to get your hands on it, you?d best jump over to eBay and put in a bid. It?s up to around US$12,500 at the time of writing.
