European based Cobra Technology(CT) has just taken the wraps off its modified GT-R package dubbed the Cobra N+. CT has added power, tweaked braking and suspension, improved the aerodynamics, and thrown in some graphics in anticipation of the car's release in Europe.

The Stage One package raises power and torque to 404kWs and 680Nms respectively thanks to revised electronics, more boost, and an improved intake. A stainless-steel free-flowing exhaust is also in the works, as is a Cobra N+ Race package which will see figures climb to over 450kWs and a considerable 800Nms. In Stage One guise, the tuned R35 should see 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds and be capable of almost 320km/h.

Nissan's factory suspension has been replaced with a coil-over setup allowing height and damper adjustment. The intricate three-piece, 21-inch, lightweight wheels are needed to house the monstrous 405mm rotors and eight-piston calipers - braking should definitely not be an issue on this GT-R.

Aerodynamics and cooling have been improved thanks to revised front and rear bumpers and new rocker panels. Larger air intakes up front improve airflow to the radiators, intercoolers and front brakes, while the new rocker panels reduce turbulence between the front and rear wheel arches. The new rear treatment includes an integrated diffuser to reduce lift at high speeds with Cobra having also fitted a larger wing.

Inside the cabin, customers can choose from alacantra and leather trim or a carbon-fibre racing seat, six-point harness and a full roll-cage. It's not hard to pick which we'd go for.

Aside from the the graphics package, we're totally digging the black on black visuals and upgraded performance credentials of the Cobra N+ GT-R. No word on pricing just yet but we'll keep our eyes out closer to the European release of the R35. Stay tuned.
