Following the unveiling in September of the updated Continental GT, Bentley is expanding its Series 51 styling and trim options to the Continental Flying Spur and its sporting Speed sibling. Both models also gain a new 30gb touchscreen infotainment system as standard.

Among the options in Bentley's Series 51 package are duo-tone exterior paint combinations, unique nine-spoke 19 inch graphite-finish alloy wheels and Series 51 badges on the front quarter panels.

Inside, Bentley offers a range of trim options based on a "rule of three" principle, created to develop a three-colour arrangement inspired by the customer's preferences.

With wood veneers and leather as the main canvas, the colour and trim specialists begin with a main interior colour, and then select a second insert colour for contrast. Lastly, a third 'accent' colour is chosen for the stitching and piping.

"One of the most exciting aspects of the Series 51 designs is the feedback from Bentley customers and their desire to explore further what we can offer. Series 51 provides just a starting point and now we are creating designs which make an even stronger and more personal statement," Bentley's Melinda June-Jenkins said.

While the Series 51 features are offered as additional options, both the Flying Spur and the Flying Spur Speed are now fitted with a new 30gb touchscreen infotainment system, including a 'dynamic navigation' GPS navigation package - including the ability to locate destinations in geo-tagged photos loaded on an SD memory card.
