Audi came to Melbourne with their new TTS Roadster and the ultimate family wagon, the insanely overpowered RS6.

The TT-S is powered by Audi's 2.0-litre TFSI which is good for an even 200kW/272hp along with a handy 350Nm. 0-100km/h times are believed to be in the low five second range, although the whisper is that Australian versions of the TTS, due to our warmer climate, will be slightly detuned and will be down 4kW on the Euro version.

The TT-S is even reasonably fuel efficient for a car with 200kW, returning an impressive 8.0 L/100kms for the manual equipped TT-S coupe. An S-tronic dual-clutch transmission is available as an option, and will actually better the manual shifter in the economy stakes returning an estimated 7.8 L/100kms, with the roadster variants adding 0.1 to 0.2 L/100kms to those figures.

If you want to read up on the RS6 then tap this link, suffice to say that a twin-turbocharged V10, with quattro AWD in a relatively benign wagon body has to be the ultimate wolf in sheeps clothing. A true 'Q' car!
