Audi R8 Abt Sportline – Hit me with your ugly stick..hit me..hit me

I thought Japan was the land of over-the-top ridiculous looking after-market tuner kits but I was only half right. Doing the rounds of the internet in the last three days is the second ugliest Audi R8 in existence. If Audi's RS8 didn't catch fire and burn to a crisp at the Nurburgring it would be the ugliest.

Thankfully the 4.2-litre gets a supercharged tweak and its output is up around 86kW to 395kW which means the 0-100km/h takes 3.9 seconds and top speed is a little north of 300km/h. Frankly, it is a god-send that this thing is so quick. If you do have the misfortune of seeing one it won't be for long.

With any luck it shouldn't be seen in Australia. Prospective owners from elsewhere around the globe are already inundating costume shops for clown outfits. The big shoes, pink curly hair and red nose seem to best capture the spirit of this fashion disaster.
