Alfa Romeo are dusting off the Monza name for what they consider to be the most sort-after versions of their GT and 147 models.
The Alfa Romeo GT Monza features unique 18 inch alloy wheels, red painted brake callipers and an Alfa Romeo â€˜shieldâ€™ and door mirrors in satin effect chrome. The GT Monza package also includes a chrome exhaust tip and â€“ on manual versions â€“ a chrome gear knob along with rear parking sensors.
Inside the GT Monza there is unique red-effect instrumentation and high-backed sports leather racing seats in hand crafted soft Italian leather. The seats continue the â€˜redâ€™ theme with red stitching that extends to the Alfa Romeo logo stitched on the headrests.
Fitted with the Alfa Romeo 2.0 litre JTS engine, the Alfa Romeo GT Monza has a recommend retail price of $53,990 in manual form and $55,990 with the Selespeed gearbox.
The Alfa Romeo 147 Monza includes around $6,000 worth of added value over the standard 147 and the Monza package is also available right across the 147 range. Like the Alfa GT Monza it features unique 18 inch alloy wheels, sports leather racing seats, chrome-tipped exhaust, a chrome gear knob on manual versions, red brake calipers, satin chrome on the door mirrors and sports pedals in addition to a rear spoiler.
Entry to the 147 Monza range begins with the three door Twin Spark at $36,990 in manual form and $38,990 with the Selespeed gearbox, while the five door is $38,990 and $40,990 for manual and Selespeed respectively. Sitting atop the 147 Monza range is the Alfa Romeo 147 JTD (diesel) Monza at $41,990.
