The soon to be ridiculously popular 370ZTech website has got it into its head that Nissan’s upcoming 370Z – expected to be unleashed on to the market in 2009 – will produce a stonking 252kW, and 458Nm of torque.

This, combined with an expected weight of about 1425Kg – rather svelte by today’s standards but only 100kg lighter than its predecessor the 350Z – should give it a 0-100km/h time of around 4.5 to 5.0 seconds.

370ZTech suggests this might all be available for US$29,500 (around A$43,000).

The fan blog acknowledges of course that this is nothing more than rumour and supposition, but wouldn’t it be nice? We’ll know more as soon as the 370Z is unveiled at the LA Motor Show, so stay tuned.
