Porsche has updated its Cayenne SUV for the 2017 model-year, bringing new standard equipment accompanied with price-rises across the board.

New features include standard Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a seven-inch touchscreen in all Cayenne models, with satellite navigation and voice commands.

PCM is now standard on all Cayennes worldwide, but Porsche Australia has also added digital radios to variants offered locally, along with 14-way electric seats and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). These features were previously optional in some models.

Still on the options list is Porsche Connect Plus, which brings Apply CarPlay via USB connection for $590.

Porsche’s other SUV, the Macan, will also come in for some attention in 2017 with the carmaker announcing a new 2.0 litre, in-line four-cylinder turbo -powered model is on its way to Australia.
