2011 Volkswagen Transporter Single Cab On Sale In Australia

Following the launch of the updated Transporter range in Australia earlier this year, along with the 4Motion variants last month, Volkswagen has today announced local availability of the Transporter Single Cab.

With room for three adults, the Transporter Single Cab is fitted with a double bench seat and a separate drivers seat.

Available with Volkswagen's 103kW 2.0 litre TDI engine, the Transporter Single Cab can be optioned with either a six-speed manual transmission or the company's seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The manual Single Cab also offers combined fuel consumption figures of 8.1 l/100km and CO2 emissions of 214g/km. The DSG variant returns combined fuel consumption figures of 8.5 litres/100km and CO2 emissions of 224g/km.

Safety features for the Transporter Single Cab include ESP, ABS, MSR Engine Drag Torque Control, Electronic Differential Lock and Hill Holder.
