A year on from unveiling its 2010 livery, the Walkinshaw Racing and the Toll Holden Racing Team have unveiled this season's VE Commodore Series II V8 Supercar Championship livery.

Dropping Red Rooster from pride of place on the bonnet, Toll HRT will be powered by Rockstar Energy Drink - its branding now featured on the bonnet, roof and wing of the 2011 car.

Sitting alongside the new metallic version of the iconic driver and lion graphic and the new Toll identity, UD Trucks and ROH Wheels have also joined Toll HRT as major sponsors this year.

The unveiling of the new car follows the death of team owner Tom Walkinshaw, who lost his battle with cancer in December.

"Tom expressed to me during his illness, the need to ensure processes that kept his legacy intact and I am proud that we have successfully achieved that, from Board level to the factory floor. I will miss a great friend and colleague but I am determined that his life’s work will live on in HSV,” HSV boss Jeffrey Browne said at the time.

Driver James Courtney said he was excited about the opportunity to rejoin the team that kick started his V8 career, returning as the reigning V8 Supercar Champion.

“I am super excited about the opportunity to drive for the Toll Holden Racing Team, especially as defending Champion. My goal is to be the driver to deliver the team its next title,” Courtney said.

Courtney said working alongside 2007 Series Champion Garth Tander would be a motivating factor in his quest for back-to-back titles.

Tander said he was thrilled with the look of his new car and looking forward to the challenges of a new season and working with his new team-mate.

“Peter Hughes and John Leung have done a tremendous job with the new logo and livery, it gives us a refreshing start to the year,” Tander said.

“Last year did not deliver the results the Toll HRT had hoped for, but our car showed good speed at times. We now have a challenge of getting the team back to the top where we were in 2009,” he added.

The new-look Toll Holden Racing Team will hit the track for the first time in 2011 this Saturday (29 January) for the official V8 Supercar Pre-Season Test at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway.

The first race in the 2011 International V8 Supercar Championship is the Yas 400 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on 11/12 February.
