The ongoing refresh of the Mercedes Benz range continues, with updates to the Vito and Viano twins revealed today.

Both models now feature the sharpened headlights and pronounced grille being rolled out across the Mercedes line-up, although, on the styling front, little else has changed.

Mercedes says both the Viano and the Vito have been given a similar makeover on the inside, with new materials and trim options. There are also a number of revisions to the dash controls and the addition of a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel to select models. Images of the interior not yet been issued.

Other interior updates include LED reading lights in the Viano, along with a DVD entertainment unit for rear passengers.

Both models get a revised suspension setup for 2011, although specific technical details have yet to be revealed.

Engine options will include Euro V-compliant four- and six-cylinder engines in petrol and diesel form, with power figures ranging from 94kW to 190kW for the Viano, and 70kW to 190kW for the Vito.

Both models feature Mercedes' BlueEFFICIENCY technology as an option, bringing improved fuel consumption and CO2 emissions levels. Even without the ultra-green technology, Mercedes-Benz says fuel consumption has been improved by up to 15 percent (although numbers have not been offered).

Availabilit,y either internationally or in Australia, has yet to be confirmed.
