2011 Civic Hatch Update Revealed, Australian Arrival Unclear
While development of the 2012 Honda Civic five-door, spied testing in Europe earlier this year, is clearly well underway, the current generation of the stylish hatch has come in for one last subtle update.

While development of the 2012 Honda Civic five-door, spied testing in Europe earlier this year, is clearly well underway, the current generation of the stylish hatch has come in for one last subtle update.
Largely a cosmetic update, Honda has done away with the acrylic faceplate of the 2010 hatch, replacing it with the mesh grille of the three-door Civic Type R already available in Australia.
Honda has also added a new colour to the Civic hatch palette, dubbed 'Ionised Bronze'.
Cabin updates include a new trim that combines cloth and the Japanese-developed Alcantara composite fabric.
Lastly, 17-inch alloy wheels are fitted to the GT variant, although this model is not offered in Australia.
