Toyota has added another model to its growing Special Edition catalogue this week, with the announcement today of the 2010 Toyota RAV4 Altitude, limited to 800 units.
Based on the all-wheel-drive four-cylinder CV variant, the RAV4 Altitude adds 17-inch alloy wheels (spare included) and roof rails, along with rear, rear-quarter and rear-door privacy glass.
The newest special edition Toyota also gains reverse parking sonar sensors and an 'Altitude' exterior badge.
Inside, there's a six-CD audio system with an LCD display, along with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. A premium steering wheel and gearshift combo round out the interior features.
All RAV4 models feature electric power-assisted steering, vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-skid brakes and Hill-start Assist Control as standard equipment.
The launch of the limited edition Altitude follows the arrival of the 2WD CV model in May, which starts at $28,990 (Manufacturer's List Price).
Starting at $32,490 (Manufacturer's List Price) for the manual model, the RAV4 Altitude offers an extra $1700 value at a $500 premium over the regular CV variant.
