Toyota Australia has today announced availability of the 2010 Toyota Camry Touring Special Edition, which follows the return last month of the Aurion Touring.

As with its V6-powered Aurion sibling, the Altise-based Camry Touring offers over $2000 of extra features, including added exterior and interior treatments normally offered as optional extras.

Topping the list of additional features is a reversing camera, with the image displayed on the audio system's LCD screen.

Exterior features of the Camry Touring Special Edition include 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, front foglamps, sports headlamps and the Camry Sportivo grille.

A rear-lip spoiler, chrome exhaust diffuser and Touring badging round out the exterior tweaks.

Inside, the Camry Touring features dual-zone air-conditioning, multi-function display and a six-disc CD changer. A three-spoke sports steering wheel and 'premium' gear shift knob are also featured.

As with the regular Camry, the Touring is powered by Toyota's 117kW 2.4 litre petrol engine, listing an official fuel consumption figure of 8.9 l/100km.

Standard safety features across the Camry range include vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-skid brakes with Brake Assist and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, twin front airbags and four more airbags.
