If you?re anything like the heads around the TMR offices, you?re eagerly awaiting the upcoming Suzuki Kizashi sedan. When Suzuki announced recently that the Kizashi wouldn?t debut at the New York Motor Show as planned, well, I won?t lie: we cried a little.
Good news today though: the production version of the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi is scheduled to make its official world debut at the upcoming LA Motor Show, with US sales to begin around the same time.
The Suzuki Kizashi is expected to be offered in both FWD and AWD layouts, with four-cylinder and six-cylinder engine options as well as a hybrid variant.
The Kizashi shares its platform with the US-market Chevrolet Malibu and in fact pulls its 3.6 litre engine from its Chevy cousin. The V6 option is expected to make around 208-225kW.
Suzuki's vice president recently told Automotive News that the Kizashi will lean towards ?sportiness and handling.?
