Suzuki Australia has announced availability of the 2010 Suzuki Bandit GSF1250 and the ABS-equipped Bandit GSF1250A, bringing new styling and colour schemes.
Powered by Suzuki's compact 1255cc DOHC liquid-cooled Bandit engine, the 1250 and 1250A both benefit from a Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel-injection system.
The matte-black Bandit engine is paired with a six-speed transmission, with braking managed by 310mm dual front disc brakes and a 240mm rear disc brake. In the case of the 1250A, the braking package is accompanied by an Antilock Braking System (ABS).
Updates for 2010 include revised bodywork and an adjustable seat, along with a more aggressive headlight design, taillights and turn signals.
The Bandit 1250's instrument cluster has also been updated, the analogue tachometer now joined by a LCD digital speedometer, fuel gauge and clock. There are now LCD indicators to identify gear position (including neutral), oil pressure, high beam and water temperature.
