2010 Nissan Tiida Series 3 Now Available In Australia

NISSAN'S OFFERING IN the small car segment has come in for an overhaul, with the updated and more affordable 2010 Nissan Tiida Series 3 now available in Australia.

Confirmed last month at the launch of the 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster, the updated Tiida starts with the base ST grade, now featuring standard curtain airbags.

The upper level Ti model gets standard leather trim, 16-inch alloy wheels, climate control and a sunroof.

Outside, a new front bumper and grille are the most obvious updates. At the rear are restyled tail lights and a new, elongated bumper. New body-coloured side sills feature along the updated Tiida's profile, designed to give the appearance of a lower, sportier look.

Inside, the Ti gets leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel as standard, along with a six-disc MP3-compatible CD player and USB connectivity.

A new metallic-look finish for the Ti dash and new sportier looking meter cluster (complete with new fuel economy readout) complete the look.

All ST models add curtain airbags, cruise control, power windows, standard steering wheel audio controls, CD player with MP3 capability and MP3 player input, as well as the new look instrument meters and fuel economy readout.
