2010 Jaguar XF V6 3.0 Petrol Drops Below $100,000 For 75th Anniversary

The birthday celebrations continue at Jaguar this month, with the British luxury carmaker's local arm announcing new pricing for the 3.0 litre V6 petrol XF, in recognition of the company's 75th Anniversary Edition.

The announcement follows the launch of the 2010 Jaguar XF V8 75th Anniversary Edition and the 2010 Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition.

Notably, the launch of the birthday-special model marks the first time the XF has been available for under $100,000, carrying a recommended retail price of $93,900 (plus on-road costs).

Power is provided by Jaguar's 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine, producing 175kW and 293Nm of torque, propelling the XF to 100km/h in 8.3 seconds. Fuel consumption is listed at 10.5 l/100km on the combined cycle.

The XF 3.0 V6 is equipped with alloy wheels, leather interior electric front seats, satellite navigation and dual-zone climate control.

"Jaguar's 75th Anniversary is a significant milestone. And the XF 3.0 V6 is a significant moment for the Jaguar XF in Australia" Kevin Goult, General Manager for Jaguar Australia said.

"We are well aware of the increasing demand for premium luxury motoring in Australia, Jaguar now has an XF that will appeal to a broader range of customers, spark interest and entice new customers with a product offering of less than $100,000 driveaway"

"Owners will effectively have a motoring experience normally associated with a six-figure outlay, for only five" he added.

The announcement of the specially-priced XF coincides with the launch of Jaguar Financial Services, a new vehicle finance arm formed in partnership with Capital Finance Australia.
