British motoring rag AutoExpress has hurled an interesting image at the world of what is supposedly the internals of the upcoming 2010 Honda NSX (or Acura NSX for our US friends).  There’s nothing to say this is an official image, but if it isn’t, it’s a bloody dedicated (and clairvoyant?) fan who’s put this one together.

AE says the new NSX will be every bit as advanced as the Nissan GT-R, and will be looking to claim scalps such as the Ferrari F430, Aston Martin’s V8 Vantage, and, of course, the Porsche 911 GT3.  Why not?

Pumping out a reported 417kW from its front-mounted 5.5-litre V10 engine and getting it to the ground via a paddle-shifted six-speed semi-auto transmission and Honda’s Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive (SH-AWD), the new NSX may be a 'slight' step forward from its 208kW 3.0-litre V6 predecessor.

AE’s scribes reckon we’ll be looking at AU$230,000 when it hits the floors in late 2009.  Considering the Nissan GT-R is expected to go for around $160,000, that’s an… interesting figure.
