HONDA AUSTRALIA HAS announced today that the 2010 Honda Accord is now offered with curtain airbags as standard across the range.
Already available with the VTi-L and V6L models, the safety upgrade is now standard with the entry-level Accord VTi.
Curtain airbags join the Accord's dual front and side airbags, while knee airbags remain absent. Other safety features include Vehicle Stability Assist, ABS brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Honda's Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure.
The ACE body is designed to channel impact forces away from the passenger compartment through a combination of design and material choices.

The 2010 Accord VTi-L and V6L models gain key-operated control for the windows and sunroof, allowing the car to be be cooled faster on hot days.
Updates to the dash fascia feature in the 2010 Accord's interior, with revised air-conditioning controls improving usability.
The 2010 Honda Accord is powered by a choice of two engines, the 2.4 litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine developing 133kW, and the 202kW V6 producing 202kW, with its Variable Cylinder Management allowing the Accord to operate on 3, 4 or all 6 cylinders for improved fuel efficiency.
