Four weeks to go until the full reveal of Ford's 2010 Mustang at the LA Motor Show. The latest round of teaser images have been added to the gallery for your drooling pleasure. The new image shows a close-up of the aptly named 'Powerdome' bonnet which we're hoping is more about function than form - meaning that the new 'Stang should be packing some serious heat.
Somehow we managed to miss two other images that found their way online but we've made amends and added them to the gallery.
A close-up of the shifter shows a simple but functional design and, when coupled with the dash shots, the Mustang's interior would appear to have come together nicely. Ford looks to have struck a surprisingly good balance between a modern interior and a retro feel.
The quarter panel and bonnet lines are revealed in the offset front-on shot and confirm that the 2010 model will be well-sculpted and with the obligatory muscular persona (good thing that).
While a car is certainly more than the sum of its parts, the 2010 Mustang looks very interesting. We're hoping there's good cohesion between the portions we've seen so far, and that on-road performance matches the looks. Thankfully it's only a four week wait until we can find out for sure.
