The ghost-rider cometh friends. Take a look at the new all-white and blue pearl Suzuki Boulevard. Myself, can't help but think of that old cow-poke who "went ridin' out"... yup, this is the bike for the white sheep of the flock, for the individual who reckons there's enough black Harleys in the wild.
If you've got the cojones for it, Suzuki's brand new 2009 big-bore cruiser is available now. With white livery and chrome finish accented by a pearl blue centre stripe, the limited-edition 2009 Suzuki Boulevard M109R will make a statement when it joins the pack. No risk there.
Under the generous saddle is a potent 109 cubic-inch, liquid-cooled, V-Twin power plant - the largest piston to be found in any reciprocating gasoline engined mass-produced passenger car or motorcycle. It's also running the widest tyre ever used on a Suzuki motorcycle, a 240mm rear tyre delivering power to the tarmac to the aural accompaniment of the massive two-into-one-into-two, stainless steel, chromed exhaust.
Cobras, if you feel you can't walk up to the bar and order a glass of milk (while everyone is chugging on Jim Bean), this might not be the bike for you. But it's great value for a monster-bore cruiser: the limited edition 2009 Suzuki Boulevard M109R (VZR1800Z) with a two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty is available for $19,490 RRP (plus the usual on-road Government theft charges).
Ride free friends. Stay clear of that "mighty herd of red-eyed cows". The Dirk.

Okay, so I'll admit I tend to know not much at all about bikes, but I know what I like and in my mind this thing looks utterly horn, just the right amount of retro-cool, large imposing and maybe even a little art deco. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to get my bike license!
Well Kezza.DO IT THEN,do not just TALK about it! Kezz.
I must admit I sure was glad that I purchased the black 2008 R2 because we just love the bike! It has nothing but unlimited raw power when cruzin' the city streets or hitting the highway at speeds more than what is posted with a bike that can handle it! I have been racing motocross for the past few years and had decided to purchase a street bike again not sure if I wanted a rocket or cruzer but I was sure glad to see and sit on this bike at the local bike show and have the best of both worlds! One thing I really love about this R2 is that the "Harley" guys just love this bike and don't even know it's a "Suzuki"!! In closing I just want to say this bike is the best I've come across in years and I've been a real Yamaha guy!!
can't wait to have one in my garage...hopefully soon!
have they fixed the fuel and oil leaks there was a recall on these bikes i believe if these problems have been fixed i will buy one no problem happy trails
The fuel rail leak has been fixed. It was the 06 & 07 modles that needs to be done. Had mine done, no big deal. Nice bike to ride for a big bike.
Need help. have a test ride on the m109 and a weekend on a rocket3. Not sure which to buy.At present on a K7 gsx14.
owning a vzr is like when i bought my palamino stallion i couldn't and wouldn't get off him the vzr when i first sat on the bike i felt comfortable now that i own it i love going for rides i feel that suzuki have not waisted anything in building the vzr
If you have the GSX 1400, I would not get rid of it for anything. THAT is just an ALL-TIME CLASSIC especially if you tune the suspension up and put a full Akra system on it. The M109 is a TERRIFIC machine. You'll always get critics who don't like the "Jetson" styling, the plastic and so on. However, this M109r is MODERN and plastics believe or not these days, buys GOLD. If you want heavy metal, get a tank/tractor/... This bike is nimble (for 700lbs), goes/points/brakes/accelerates with a capial E for excitement. The looks are FRESH TODAY (as against TIRED and trying to look 100 yrs old). Everything about it is great but DON'T expect an R1 handling when you go at a 100mph corner!!! Best suited for smooth(proper) roads and sweeping giant slalom turns at speed. Not good with sharp BUMPS and TIGHT mountain turns. Everywhere else, it's a joy to ride. It is so sorted even a woman with reasonable legs can ride it, yet a man looking for a POWER/MUSCLE machine will not be disappointed.!
I bought the M109R limited Edition in 2009 man it speaks for it's self an eye catcher not much of a chick catcher but who needs it when you are sitting on 120 to 130 klms the only modifications i have done to the bike are the exhaust i put Vance and Heinz shot guns on and the air filter is a K&N the only bitch i have is the tyres need to develop a tyre that lasts longer than 10,000 klms
