The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a good looking unit in its own right, but the crew at Daimler have sweetened it up some more - the C-Class can now be had in a Limited Edition Sports Package.
Available for both the supercharged 135kW C 200 KOMPRESSOR and the C 220 CDI turbo-diesel, the Limited Edition Sports Package can be had in sedan and wagon form ? because even the dogs and groceries deserve to be hauled in style.
Exterior enhancements include a matt silver finish to the radiator grille, with chrome inlays and a large three-pointed star dominating the nose.
The front and rear bumpers benefit from lashings of chrome, as do the lower door sides, fog light surrounds and boot lit handle. The set the chrome off and keep it on a sporty line, the tail lights have been given a dark grey tint.
The real head-turner of any sports package, of course, is the 'rolling stock'. The C-Class Limited Edition Sports Package offers unique alloy wheels, with 17x7.5-inch rims up front and 17x8.5 examples out back, riding on low-profile 225/45 and 245/40 rubber.
Inside, ambient lighting and aluminium highlights play up the ARTICO and fabric upholstery. For the long haul, a double cup holder and stowage compartment has been added to the rear central armrest.
Best of all, you can have the Limited Edition Sports Package in any colour you like, as long as it?s Obsidian Black, Iridium Silver or Calcite White.
The C-Class Limited Edition Sports Package starts at $59,990 for the punchy C 200 KOMPRESSOR Sports Package saloon, offering over $5000 in savings if you were to option up your own C-Class.
