Isuzu's tough-as-nails D-Max is available as a cab chassis, extended space cab or double cab and comes in six models: SX, EX, LS, LS-U, LS-M and LS-Terrain. It is available in both 4X2 and 4x4 drivetrain configurations, each widely respected for their robustness and reliability.
The D-Max is equipped with a hard-working commercial-spec 3.0-litre diesel turbo engine (with a stainless steel timing chain). There are two transmissions to choose from, a five-speed manual, or five-speed sports automatic.
It also comes standard with driver and passenger airbags, side airbags for first row occupants, traction control, electronic stability, brake assist as well as cruise control and two, four or six-speaker stereo. Up-spec models come with a premium feature list.
With a 3.5 tonne tow rating and one of the strongest chassis in the class, the D-Max is built for work. Wheel sizes are 15-inch, 16-inch or 17-inch alloys, depending upon the model.
