Hyundai i30 New Car Reviews & Price Guide

Part of Hyundai's small car range, the i30 is available as either a five-door hatchback or Tourer wagon. It comes in a wide selection of models - Active, SE, Premium, SR and Elite - the SR being a sporty higher-powered version for keen drivers.

The i30 range offers a choice of four engines, a 1.6-litre petrol, a 1.8-litre or potent 124kW 2.0-litre petrol as well as a modern, and very frugal, 1.6-litre diesel turbo. There are three transmission choices, depending upon the model: a six-speed manual, six-speed sports automatic, or a rapid-shifting seven-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic.

It also comes standard with driver and passenger airbags, head and side airbags, traction control, electronic brake distribution, Bluetooth as well as cruise control and six-speaker stereo. Up-spec models come with a premium features list.

Wheel sizes are 16-inch alloys, 17-inch alloys or 16-inch steel, depending upon the model.
