2020 Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series long-term review: Final instalment
Looking back on our Toyota modifications.
There's no doubt the 79-Series LandCruiser is one of the most iconic 4WDs on the road, and that's why we chose one to buy and modify.
Here we take a look at the exterior modifications we've made up to this point, after covering 15,000km in the dual cab.
We'll cover the winch and bar work, tyres and suspension, side steps and our Norweld canopy. We've tried to look at the most typical modifications that owners would cover before you get to the more exotic stuff, like rear wheel track correction and an automatic transmission.
There might be 'better' 4WDs on the road, and there are certainly more comfortable and modern 4WDs on the road, but none have the presence of the iconic 70-Series.
It's not cheap to get one to the final stage of modifications either, and there's still plenty of money you could spend on ours, but owners don't let the cost of modification deter them.
Don't forget to look back at all our modifications in detail.
