A Queensland property designed for rally cars, off-road buggies, four-wheel-drives, and motocross bikes is for sale – and it comes with a four-bedroom house.
Those who have ever dreamed of having a rally stage in their backyard are in luck.
Domain has listed the 'Drivers Compound' for sale – a 162-hectare property in Thanes Creek, Queensland, which includes more than 10 kilometres of dirt roads for rallying and four-wheel-driving, as well as a dedicated motocross track.
A modern four-bedroom off-grid home comes with a solar system, a 40,000-litre rain-water storage tank, and gas cooking.
The property also has two air-conditioned container cabins to rent, and approval for private camping – either on the hilltop with panoramic views, modern bathrooms, and a fire pit, or at the main dam with spectator points for the rally track.
The Drivers Compound currently offers 'Camping and Driving' with four people and one vehicle for $330.
Only one-third of the property has been utilised, with plenty of bushwalking and gold prospecting available, according to the sellers.
In a Facebook post, the current owners of the Drivers Compound say they have had to make the "hard decision" to sell "due to family commitments".
The inland property is a 30-minute drive to country town Warwick, one hour and 15 minutes to Toowoomba, or a little more than 2.5 hours to Brisbane city.
