Indian carmaker Tata has restyled its four year-old Aria SUV to create the Hexa, revealed at this week’s Geneva Motor Show.
Developed with input from subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover in a bid to meet European safety standards and quality expectations, the Aria made its production debut in 2010.
But, while Tata is understood to be planning a new range that will more deeply integrate JLR technologies, the Aria is built on Tata’s own pickup-based ladder chassis and is driven by the Indian carmaker’s 115kW 2.2 litre ‘Varicor’ diesel.
