Poll: Toyota is onto a winner with 2019 Supra styling
Toyota has nailed the looks of its upcoming Supra sports car, if the results of our latest poll are to be believed.
It hasn't been officially unveiled yet, but the rear-drive tie-up with BMW was leaked by a Japanese magazine last week.
Granted, they could just be commissioned renders, but the styling and technical details provided are remarkably faithful to the cavalcade of teasers, concepts and spy shots previewing the production sports car.
Our article about the car attracted a stream of negative comments, but the wider Facebook public proved more receptive to the Supra's unique face. In fact, 61 per cent of voters were in favour of the look.
With a blade-like front splitter and race-esque protrusion from the nose, it's certainly going to stand out.
Reports have suggested the Supra will be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions, although there's been no official word and, well, a stick-shift would be against the modern grain.
We'll have to wait for the Geneva motor show for a full, official look at the Supra in race-form. There's still no word on when the production car will land.

THIS WEEK'S POLL
This week, it's a Scandinavian wagon and SUV face-off. The V60 was revealed last week, but the world is crazy for mid-size luxury SUVs like the XC60. Which would you prefer?
